Hon. Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant commented "Shrinivas Dempo has always cared and worked towards the well being of Goa and growing employment and opportunities for Goans. MeWo is a great initiative supported by him and activated by Abrar Shaikh for pushing the Goan ecosystem forward. We will help MeWo & Abrar as much as possible to make this concept a success. MeWo has full support from the Government of Goa to help grow Goa. I wish them the very best and shall support the impact initiative as much as possible."
Hon. IT Minister, Smt. Jennifer Monserrate "MeWo is a fresh initiative to grow the Goan ecosystem. Making "Work Nests" for startups and corporates who are based outside Goa is a brilliant concept. We shall provide full support from the IT Ministry to help MeWo. I wish Shrinivas Dempo & Abrar Shaikh the very best in their journey as partners at MeWo"
The concept has already set fire before it's launch with pre-bookings of around 30%. Founders from Mumbai, Pune and other locations including few from Goa have already pre-booked at MeWo and shall start formal operations from today. The gap identified by the founders has started getting validation, and they have several other signups in the pipeline. India's Premier Work Nest expects to be a full house soon and should start expansion in Goa by early 2020.
